Jake & Mary Salgado

Jake and Mary are members in El Paso. Jake is in the army and keeps the Elders busy teaching friends about the gospel. Whenever the missionaries are at their house, I usually get a nice picture of them! Seeing Richard's smile gives me such comfort! His companion is Elder Justin Taylor. They will be "forever friends".  Richard said in his last e-mail, "Don't worry about me, things are getting better all the time.  There are amazing members like the Butterfield's, Jake and Mary, and Mat Gonzalez and his big family.  Jake and Mat are my best friends (even though they don't know it).  I love getting to know the people and the area better!"
